ABOUT ROADHOUSE
So you stumbled upon this place and wanna find out more. Ok then, here goes :)
The Roadhouse was an idea born in the beginning of 2008 as Dana was searching the net for transcripts of Supernatural. After having spent a few hours looking, she realized that there really wasn't any sites out there that offered the entire shows' transcripts. You can find the first season in some places but mostly it's scattered episodes. After digging into this and talking to other fans, it turned out that they were all irritated over this fact. So Dana decided it was time there was a site that could provide the fans with this.
After debating things with herself, she dediced that the site didn't need to just focus on Supernatural but it could also feature other shows that is just as hard to find in transcripts. So after throwing out the idea among friends, she came back with a list of shows and ideas of others that will show up in the future. Then it was time to go to work.
The name of the site took some time to find. At first this place was actually supposed to be named "Decaf Land". But after working with the name and the site for a few weeks, it just didn't feel like it fit. So after opening up the sitename to discussion, it was finally named "Roadhouse" as in honor of Supernatural. The honorary namer is Shawnawitter over at LiveJournal. A big thank you goes out to this lady for coming up with such a fitting and awesome name! :D
The site opened officially on May 15, 2008. It was opened a bit earlier than planned to match up with the season 3 finale of Supernatural.
